Does Collins Builders have preferred lenders?
Yes, Collins Builders has three Preferred Lenders and we will pay all lender fees and up to six months interest on construction loan with financing with our preferred lenders
Collins Builder does reserves the right to refuse business unless financing is obtained through a Collins Builders’ preferred lender.
Can I install a pool during construction of the our home on your lot program?
Yes, if the pool is contracted through Collins Builders’ pool contractor. If a pool is desired by an outside pool company, construction can begin only after completion home and final payment received.
Does Collins Builders handle well and septic tanks?
Yes, we have an outstanding well/septic company that will handle everything for our home on your lot.
Does Collins Builders clear and prep my site for construction?
Yes, upon site condition acceptance, Collins Builders will perform any site condition prep required.
Will Collins Builders perform any demolition needed on the site?
No, site must be clear of any existing structures before entering into contract for our home on on your lot.
Does Collins Builders do remodeling or additions?
No, we do new construction only.
Does Collins Builders construct attached decks or docks over water?
No, but we can put you in touch with a reputable contractor who does.
Do I need to provide my own sub-contractors or myself to perform any of the construction tasks?
No, Collins Builders has a great team of subcontractors. In order for us to maintain control and responsibility for jobsite safety and the quality of work performed we make it a policy not to use subcontractors who are not already contracted with us.
Can I supply any of my own materials? (Light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, flooring etc…)
No, Collins Builders must maintain control and responsibility for the quality, safety and delivery of all materials installed.
Can I install my own irrigation and landscaping?
Yes, only after Collins Builders has completed the home and received the final payment.
