RAINHEAD OPTIONS FOR YOUR NEW SHOWER

Creating a spa-like retreat in their new home is a must for many of our clients. One of the hallmarks of a spa shower is a rain shower head. These come in a variety of finishes and shapes to fit any design style. Many also come with several functions to change the style of water spray and pressure for further customization.

Rainhead Styles
The Rainheads come in both round and square shapes. Choose a square shape to complement faucet families like Align, Genta, or Voss. Round rainheads range from the modern and sleek to the traditional. The larger the size of the shower head, the more gentle the rain effect. An 8″ head provides medium water pressure while large 12″ heads give a light rain shower. Rainheads are available in all the faucet finishes, so it’s easy to find one that complements your other finishes.

Rainhead Locations
The most popular location for a rainshower is to hang from the shower ceiling. These rainheads are controlled by their own valve and operate independent of the main shower head. For the true experience, choose a 10″ or 12″ rain head with this option. You can also install a rainhead from a traditional shower arm set in the shower wall. These can either be your main shower head or in addition to the main shower. Several faucet families have an 8″ rain head option for both shower and tub/shower trims, which is a nice choice for secondary showers.

Adding a rainshower head to your showers brings the spa to your home. With so many options and styles to choose from, you can find the perfect fit for your needs. Whether you install it on the ceiling or as your everyday shower head, you’ll enjoy the rain experience for years to come!
